Announcing our 2009 Community Grants Recipients!
We're always looking for ways to support the community, and make it a greener and safer place to live. It's the reason we created our annual Community Grants Program - getting behind some of our hard-working local community groups, and helping them do even more great work.
Since the program's beginnings in 2003, we've given $4 million to over 1100 community projects, right across Australia. And this year has been one of our biggest ever. In NSW and the ACT alone, we've given 55 community grants to groups in fields like crime prevention, road safety, emergency readiness & response, and the environment - an investment of around $230,000.
