We support a range of Kidsafe road and home safety initiatives.
Through our partnership with Kidsafe (Child Accident Prevention Foundation of Australia), we aim to support parents and carers as they work to improve the safety of their children. In particular, we support Kidsafe's Child Restraint hire, fitting and checking services in WA, QLD and ACT.
Did you know?
- One of the major and preventable causes of child deaths and serious unintentional injury is the child not wearing an approved, appropriate and properly used car restraint
- Unintentional injury is the leading cause of deaths in Australian children aged one to fourteen
- In 2007, Kidsafe correctly fitted over 12,000 child restraints in WA, QLD and ACT
How we're helping
We support Kidsafe road safety initiatives in the areas of pedestrian safety, driveway and school car park safety, bicycle safety, and correct use of car restraints. We also support Kidsafe home safety programs working to reduce injuries due to poisons, fires, burns and scalds.
