Continuation of overseas journey if you have to return to Australia
We cover the costs of returning you to Australia if your trip is interrupted by a situation at home that is beyond your control, and that involves the death, injury or illness of your relative, travelling companion or their relative, or your business partner. We will also cover the cost of a ticket to return you to the place on your original itinerary where your travel was interrupted.

Payment of hire car excess
If you are in an accident in a hired vehicle we will pay the insurance excess you are liable for under a hire agreement.

Expenses if your trip is rescheduled delayed or cancelled
We will pay reasonable costs that arise from your trip being rescheduled, delayed or cancelled due to certain circumstances.

Lost or stolen luggage and travel documents
We cover you up to varying amounts, depending on your plan, if your luggage or travel documents have been lost or stolen.

Accidental death or disability and loss of income
We will pay your estate if you die or pay you if you are permanently disabled as a result of an accident. We will also cover you for loss of income up to a period of six months.

Legal liability for injuries to a third person or property
We will cover your legal liability as a result of an incident that causes damage to someone else’s property or death or bodily injury to someone.
