Earn on Wear and Tear Safety Challenge Offer Terms and Conditions

The Earn on Wear and Tear Safety Challenge Offer Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between us and you, and include terms that limit NRMA Insurance’s liability for certain types of loss or damage. You will need to accept these Terms and Conditions to continue to participate in this Offer.

  1. These terms and conditions (Offer Terms and Conditions) apply to the Help Hub “Earn on Wear and Tear Safety Challenge” offer (Offer). Eligible Recipients (see paragraph 3) agree to be bound by these Offer Terms and Conditions.
  1. The promoter is Insurance Australia Limited ABN 11 000 016 722, trading as NRMA Insurance (Level 4, Tower Two, Darling Park, 201 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000) (“Promoter” or “NRMA Insurance”).
  1. For the purposes of these Offer Terms and Conditions, an individual must successfully complete the Earn on Wear and Tear Safety Challenge (the Safety Challenge) in the NRMA Insurance app during the Offer Period (see paragraph 4) (an Eligible Recipient).
  1. This Offer is available between 9:00am (AEST) on 4 Sep 2024 and 11:59pm (AEST) on 6 Oct 2024 (Offer Period).
  1. Under this Offer, Eligible Recipients will earn 5 Help Points. Eligible Recipients can only receive a maximum of 5 Help Points in conjunction with this Offer.
  1. Eligible Recipients should allow up to 21 calendar days after all eligibility requirements (see paragraph 3) have been satisfied for any Help Points earned in conjunction with this Offer to be credited to their Help Hub account. If you have not received your Help Points within 21 calendar days of satisfying all of the eligibility requirements, please contact NRMA Insurance at 132 132.
  1. EXCEPT FOR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW (IN WHICH CASE THAT LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM ALLOWABLE BY LAW), AND SUBJECT TO CLAUSES 8 AND 9, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO $5.00.
  1. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NRMA INSURANCE (INCLUDING ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS) EXCLUDES ALL LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE.
  1. NRMA Insurance is not liable for any tax liability incurred by an Eligible Recipient as a result of their participation in the Offer.
  1. Nothing in these Offer Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes, modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth). 
  1. NRMA Insurance reserves the right to withdraw or substitute all or part of this Offer with another offer of equal or greater value at NRMA Insurance’s sole discretion. Eligible Recipients who previously took up the Offer will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the Offer has been substituted at equal or greater value at a later time.
  1. NRMA Insurance reserves the right to disqualify any person that seeks to gain an unfair advantage or to manipulate this Offer.
  1. NRMA Insurance (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Offer in circumstances where an event beyond the reasonable control of NRMA Insurance corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Offer.
  1. Personal information is being collected by NRMA Insurance for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Offer, and to assist NRMA Insurance to improve its services. By accepting these Offer Terms and Conditions, you consent to the storage, use and disclosure of your personal information by NRMA Insurance in accordance with its privacy policy (at www.nrma.com.au/privacy). If the personal information is not provided, you may not be able to participate in this Offer. NRMA Insurance’s privacy policy contains information about how individuals may access, update or correct their information, how individuals may complain about the treatment of their personal information, and how NRMA Insurance will deal with such a complaint.
