Yes. Support is available in regional and remote parts of SA, with 25km towing included in country areas. In remote areas, towing may still be arranged, but commercial rates can apply for the full distance.

Yes. NRMA* Roadside Assistance is available across Adelaide metro, with 15km towing included in metropolitan areas for Everyday Care (SA).

You can still get help. NRMA* members travelling interstate can access roadside assistance through arrangements with other Australian motoring clubs, with service based on the local club’s basic cover.

Not always. In South Australia, Everyday Care (SA) includes 15km towing in metro Adelaide and 25km in country SA, while NRMA’s* Everyday Care offer in NSW/ACT uses different towing rules.

Absolutely. NRMA* Roadside Assistance is just as helpful for regional drivers as it is for urban areas. Just be mindful that towing inclusions can vary by location.

Older vehicles can be covered, as long as they're in roadworthy condition and meet the necessary eligibility requirements.

It sure is. Cover for an EV, hybrid or plug-in hybrid is automatically included. If you run out of charge, a mobile EV charger will be sent, or your car can be towed to the nearest EV charging station (whichever is fastest).

Things you should know

NRMA* Roadside Assistance is only available in SA, NSW and the ACT.  However, NRMA* Roadside Assistance membership includes national roadside assistance coverage, utilising reciprocal arrangements with all other State and Territory motoring clubs in Australia. These reciprocal benefits entitle NRMA* Roadside Assistance members to the basic roadside assistance cover offered by the State or Territory motoring club, depending on the State or Territory in which the breakdown occurs.
