Our Comprehensive Car Insurance cover is designed to give you peace of mind by protecting you against a wide range of insured events, like car damage caused by fire, theft, weather and collisions.
We understand that accidents don’t just affect you. So, with this policy, you’ll also be covered for damage your car causes to other people's vehicles and property.
There’s also the option to add extras to suit your needs, like excess-free glass-only claims or choosing your own repairer.
There’s different levels of comprehensive cover, so check our Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for specific terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions for each level of cover.
Our Comprehensive Car Insurance covers a wide range of insured events including damage to your car from accidents, theft, fire, and severe weather, as well as damage you may cause to other vehicles or property in an accident.
Our Third Party Property Damage Car Insurance covers damage you cause to other people's cars or property in an accident. It also covers damage to your car if an uninsured driver causes the accident (limits apply).
Our Third Party Property Fire & Theft Insurance offers the same cover as Third Party Property Damage, with additional protection if your car is stolen or catches fire (limits apply).
Check our Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for specific terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions for each level of cover.
Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Green Slip Insurance (NSW) and NRMA Comprehensive Car Insurance are two different types of cover.
CTP Insurance doesn’t cover damage to your vehicle, other vehicles or property – only injuries from an accident. It’s insurance you need before you can register your vehicle. It covers costs like medical treatment and lost income for people who need it after they’re injured in a road accident.
No matter where you are in Australia, CTP is mandatory for all vehicle owners. In NSW, CTP is also referred to as a Green Slip. If you’re in the Australian Capital Territory, you’ll know it as MAI Insurance.
Comprehensive Car Insurance is optional. NRMA Comprehensive Car Insurance covers a wide range of insured events like car damage caused by fire, theft, weather and collisions. Accidents happen, so with this policy, you’ll also be covered for damage your car causes to other people's vehicles and property.
Check our Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for specific terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions for each level of cover.
