Our Home Contents Insurance and Home Building and Contents Insurance policies help cover the things you keep inside of your home against insured events like theft, fire or storm damage.
With this policy, laptops can be covered for loss or damage that occurs at home.

If you want your laptop covered while you’re at work, school, or your favourite cafe, you can enhance your home contents policy with cover for your Portable Electronic Devices. With this option, you’ll have protection while you’re out and about.
This option is available for both our Contents Plus and Contents Standard policies. The most we’ll pay for an individual item is $10,000.
Another option available for you is Single Item Insurance. With this policy, you can be covered for an individual item, like your laptop, for the sum insured.
This policy is separate from any home or contents insurance policies you may already have with us, but like those policies, it can offer protection against listed events that occur within your home, including: theft, fire, flood and extreme weather events.
For extra cover outside the home, you can add on protection for theft and accidental damage within Australia.
