- These terms and conditions (“Offer Terms and Conditions”) apply to the NRMA Insurance ‘$100 Virtual Visa Gift Card Business Insurance ’ (“Offer”). Eligible Recipients (see paragraph 3) agree to be bound by these Offer Terms and Conditions.
- The promoter is Insurance Australia Limited ABN 11 000 016 722, trading as NRMA Insurance (Tower Two, Darling Park, 201 Sussex Street, Sydney NSW 2000) (“Promoter” or “NRMA Insurance”). The Promoter has engaged Digital Glue Australia Pty Ltd ABN 36 127 466 899 (Level 5, 36 Grosvenor St, Sydney NSW 2000 Australia) (“Digital Glue”), to undertake the fulfilment of the Gift Cards (see paragraph 14).
- Subject to these Offer Terms and Conditions, for the Offer to apply, an Eligible Recipient must:
a. Have been offered or presented with the Offer by NRMA Insurance;
b. Hold an existing NRMA Business Insurance, NRMA Professional Indemnity Insurance, or NRMA Information and Communications Technology Liability Insurance policy (“Eligible Policy”); and
c. Continue their Eligible Policy for a minimum additional monthly payment (if they are a pay-by the month policy holder) or for 30 days from taking up this Offer, whichever is greater (see paragraph 7).
- This Offer continues until withdrawn by NRMA Insurance (“Offer Period”).
- This Offer is only available on one Eligible Policy.
- This Offer is not available on any other NRMA Insurance policy (new or existing), including:
a. NRMA Motor Trade Insurance;
b. Farm Insurance;
c. Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance;
d. Comprehensive Car Insurance;
e. Comprehensive Plus Car Insurance;
f. Comprehensive Basics Car Insurance;

- Under this Offer, Eligible Recipients will receive a $100 Virtual Visa Gift Card (“Gift Card”), if they meet all of the following entry requirements to qualify for participation in the Offer:
a. during the Offer Period, the Eligible Recipient continued their Eligible Policy for a minimum additional monthly payment (for pay-by the month policy holders) or for 30 days, whichever is greater;
b. the Eligible Policy must not be cancelled within 30 days from making the current monthly Insurance Payment, as applicable; and
c. the Eligible Recipient must provide a valid email address in connection with the purchase of an Eligible Policy (see paragraph 13 for further details), (together, the “Entry Requirements”).
- Limit of one (1) Virtual Visa Gift Card per Eligible Policy.
- This Offer does not impact any offers, points, rewards and benefits that you may be eligible for in connection with the NRMA Insurance Help Hub Rewards Program.
- If a customer decides to take advantage of this Offer by renewing or continuing the Eligible Policy, they should do so having regard to their own financial situation, objectives and needs and the terms, cover and premium of the Eligible Policy.
- Whether NRMA Insurance issues a policy and on what terms is subject to NRMA Insurance’s normal underwriting criteria and practices.
- By continuing with their Eligible Policy during the Offer Period and otherwise meeting the Entry Requirements, the Eligible Recipient agrees:
a. to receiving an email (to the email address referenced in paragraph 7(d)) about the Gift Card (whether from NRMA Insurance or Digital Glue or their agents); and
b. that such email will not contain an unsubscribe link.
- Communications about the Gift Card will be sent to the email address of the primary contact person for the Eligible Policy. In the event an Eligible Recipient does not satisfy paragraph 7(d) of the Entry Requirements at the time of taking out the Eligible Policy, such Eligible Recipient will have up to 30 days to provide or update their email address to NRMA Insurance from the date they renew their Eligible Policy or take up this Offer, whichever is earlier. Email addresses can be updated by the Eligible Recipient, within the 30-day time period, by contacting NRMA Insurance on 132 818.
- Once an Eligible Recipient has satisfied the Entry Requirements in paragraph 7, NRMA Insurance, via Digital Glue, will email the Eligible Recipient’s nominated email address within 45 days after the date the next minimum additional monthly insurance payment is made (if the Eligible Recipient is a pay-by-the-month policy holder) or 45 days after taking up this Offer, whichever is later, to confirm that they have qualified for participation in the Offer. The Eligible Recipient will be given a unique claim code (“Unique Claim Code”) and instructions on how to redeem the Gift Card. The Eligible Recipient must redeem the Gift Card within 90 days of receiving the email from Digital Glue.
- Each Eligible Recipient acknowledges that the Gift Card can only be used where Prepaid Visa gift cards are accepted and processed electronically. Each Eligible Recipient acknowledges that they must comply with the relevant Gift Card vendor’s terms and conditions, which include the following:
a. full Gift Card terms and conditions can be found here: activgiftcard.com.au/terms-conditions/ (“Gift Card Terms of Use”). Subject to the Gift Card Terms of Use, it cannot be used for certain transactions, including at financial institutions or ATMs;
b. the preloaded credit on the Gift Card will expire in accordance with the expiry date in the Gift Card Terms of Use;
c. the Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash, reloaded, or be replaced after expiry and is not legal tender, an account card, a credit or security;
d. any dispute about goods or services purchased with the Gift Card should be resolved in accordance with the Gift Card Terms of Use and/or with the relevant retailer and not NRMA Insurance; and
e. please refer any Gift Card transaction enquiries to support@nrma.iag-rewards.com. Neither NRMA Insurance nor Digital Glue is able to reverse any approved transactions on the Gift Card.
- Subject to the Gift Card Terms of Use, the Gift Card is not transferable or exchangeable. NRMA Insurance and/or Digital Glue may subject Gift Cards to verification and security checks in its absolute discretion.
- EXCEPT FOR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW (IN WHICH CASE THAT LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM ALLOWABLE BY LAW), AND SUBJECT TO CLAUSES 21 AND 22, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO $100.
- TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NRMA INSURANCE (INCLUDING ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS) EXCLUDES ALL LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE.
- NRMA Insurance is not liable for any tax liability incurred by an Eligible Recipient as a result of their participation in the Offer.
- Nothing in these Offer Terms and Conditions restrict, exclude, modify or purport to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth).
- For the avoidance of doubt, clauses 20 to 21 do not modify or otherwise affect NRMA Insurance’s potential liability under any insurance policies NRMA Insurance may enter into with you, including Eligible Policies entered into pursuant to this Offer.
- NRMA Insurance reserves the right to withdraw or substitute all or part of this Offer with another offer of equal or greater value at NRMA Insurance’s sole discretion. Eligible Recipients who previously took up the Offer will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the Gift Card has been substituted at equal or greater value at a later time.
- Once the Gift Card has been despatched via email, NRMA Insurance and Digital Glue will not be responsible for and will be discharged for any delay or failure to deliver the Gift Card.
- NRMA Insurance is not responsible for any undelivered emails due to an Eligible Recipient’s spam filters or email settings.
- To determine an Eligible Recipient’s eligibility for the Offer, NRMA Insurance may request, at its discretion (acting reasonably), proof of identity, residency and eligibility. In the event that an Eligible Recipient cannot provide suitable proof, they may forfeit the Offer in whole and no substitute will be offered. NRMA Insurance reserves the right to disqualify any person that seeks to gain an unfair advantage or to manipulate this Offer.
- NRMA Insurance (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Offer in circumstances where an event beyond the reasonable control of NRMA Insurance corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Offer.
- Personal information is being collected by Digital Glue and NRMA Insurance for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Offer, and to assist NRMA Insurance to improve its services. By accepting these Offer Terms and Conditions, each Eligible Recipient consents to the storage and use of their personal information by Digital Glue in accordance with its privacy policy (at blackhawknetwork.com/au-en/privacy-policy) and by NRMA Insurance in accordance with its privacy policy (at www.nrma.com.au/privacy). If the personal information is not provided, you may not be able to participate in this Offer. Each privacy policy also contains information about how individuals may access, update or correct their information, how individuals may complain about the treatment of their personal information, and how each of NRMA Insurance and/or Digital Glue (as applicable) will deal with such a complaint.
