NRMA Home Security offer for NRMA Home Loans customers – Terms and Conditions

  1. The offer:

a. 30% discount on purchase and installation of a home alarm system, with 12 months of free monitoring, for a property in NSW, ACT, QLD, SA or WA; and/or

b. 30% discount on purchase and installation of a home CCTV surveillance system, for a property in NSW, ACT, QLD, SA or WA.

NOTE: This offer is only available in metro areas within NSW, ACT, QLD, SA and WA that are served by NRMA Security technicians. Properties in rural or remote areas may not be served – please check at the time of calling for a quote.

  1. When you take up the offer, the specific brand, model and inclusions for the home alarm system and/or home CCTV system you receive will depend on the circumstances of your residential property. When you call for a quote, an NRMA Security representative will discuss with you the different options that may be appropriate for your property.
  1. An eligible customer (see clause 4 below) may take up one or both components of the offer described in clause 1. However, each offer component, clause 1(a) or 1(b), if selected by the customer, must be taken in its entirety.
  1. Eligibility:

a. This offer is available to NRMA Home Loans customers who have an NRMA Home Loans owner occupied or investment loan at the time of obtaining a quote pursuant to this offer. Each component of the offer may only be taken once during the life of an eligible NRMA Home Loans loan product.

b. A customer will not be able to take up the offer until 14 days have passed since settlement of their NRMA Home Loan.

c. Where a loan is in the names of two borrowers, the offer entitlement must be shared between the borrowers; there is no increase in the offer entitlement.

d. To obtain the offer, an eligible NRMA Home Loans customer must call NRMA Security to obtain a quote over the phone.

e. The eligible customer must inform the NRMA Security representative at the time of obtaining a quote that they are an NRMA Home Loans customer and would like to take advantage of the associated discount.

f. To confirm eligibility, the customer will be asked to provide the borrower name and property address associated with their NRMA Home Loans account. (Note: this offer may be used for a residential property unrelated to the customer’s NRMA Home Loan.)
 

  1. This offer may be withdrawn at any time. Any eligible customer who wishes to take up the offer must have obtained and accepted a quote pursuant to the offer prior to offer withdrawal.
  1. The specified discount will be applied to the cost of purchase and installation of the relevant system(s) prior to the application of GST.
  1. The 12 months of free monitoring available on a home alarm system for eligible NRMA Home Loans customers does not apply to any other post-installation service offered by NRMA Security. Charges will apply for services such as patrol call-outs, technician call-outs and service call-outs.
  1. Quotes provided by NRMA Security in connection with this offer are valid for 30 days. Installation of the home alarm or home CCTV system (as applicable) must occur within 90 days of the date the quote was issued. It may be necessary for the technician to adjust the original quote when the property is inspected at the time of installation. If the adjusted quote is accepted by the customer, the discount available under this offer will be applied to the adjusted quote (prior to the application of GST).
  1. This offer is not transferable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer on NRMA Security services.
  1. NRMA Security (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend or suspend this offer in circumstances where an event beyond the reasonable control of NRMA Security corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this offer.
