Yes, we cover damage caused by storms and weather, for example:

  • Flood
  • Cyclone or tornado
  • Rain
  • Thunderstorm
  • Hail or snow
  • Severe winds.

To be covered, your house must have been structurally sound, watertight and well maintained before the damage occurred.

If your home is unliveable because of an incident we cover, we'll pay for temporary accommodation for you and your family.

We offer market value policies for cars that have pre-existing hail damage providing that they're in registrable condition.

We cover damage caused by water leaking or escaping from:

  • House gutters
  • Pipes and drainpipes
  • Baths and toilets
  • Appliances (such as washing machines and dishwashers)
  • Aquariums
  • Water tanks
  • Swimming pools.

If you have Comprehensive Motorcycle cover, we will replace your helmet if it's lost or damaged in an incident we cover.

For an extra cost, you can choose to add the option of cover for protective clothing (e.g. jacket, trousers, boots and gloves) to your policy.

If you have Comprehensive cover, we also cover you personal items, for up to $1,000 in total.

Personal items we will not cover include, mobile phones, cash, and property used for earning an income.

Important note for customers in NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and the ACT:

If your policy was

  • First purchased before 21 April 2024 and not yet renewed
