Why's a third party/partner repairer/supplier calling me when I'm a customer?

NRMA Insurance have partnerships with specialist repairers and suppliers.

We engage these partners to assist in your claims process as they can best organise to return you to the position you were in before your claim.

Rest assured that we only engage suitably qualified repairers and leading retailers that we work closely with to assist with your claim.

You can choose your own repairer to fix your car with Comprehensive or Comprehensive Plus Insurance, if you've added the 'Any Repairer' option. Our Comprehensive and Comprehensive Plus Insurance automatically includes access to our extensive Partner Repairer network. We've partnered with trusted businesses to deliver quality, safe repairs and have you back on the road as soon as possible.

If you have a Motorcycle Insurance policy, you can use any licensed repairer of your choice to fix your motorcycle.

If you have the details of the repairer you can give them a call and they can re-schedule it for you.

If your appointment is with one of our Partner Repairers you can call us on 132 132 (7am–8pm AEST/AEDT) and we’ll change the appointment for you.

If we authorise and pay to repair your home we provide a lifetime guarantee.

This means that we'll repair any defects that were caused by poor workmanship by one of our partner repairers.

We don't guarantee repairs that you authorise yourself or organise if we cash settle your claim.

  • We'll arrange a convenient time with you to inspect the damages you're claiming for
  • We'll let you know what needs to be repaired. If there's anything that won't or can't be repaired, we'll explain why
  • For most claims we can organise one of our accredited Partners to do the work and we'll provide a lifetime guarantee for the work done
  • If you have a builder or tradesperson you would prefer to use, simply let us know
